This past week I have seen several clients with back pain and ankle issues and they or you if you have back pain may not have connected the two.
When I look at your body I am trying to figure out what caused your concern..most lesions are ascending (came from below; the ankle or foot) or are descending and came from above (a blow from above; the head or shoulder etc.) and how it affects your body overall.
If I assess your back and treat your hip or sacrum or low back and it isn’t moving as expected I assess the head and feet and see where it might be coming form.
The 1 or 2 or 3 times you have stumbled and strained your ankle or sprained it or even broke it (ouch!) and thought it didn’t matter long term…. well it may be the reason your back hurts. I often treat ankles and feet and voila the back/hip issue gets better, of course there are other parts to the session and I always integrate it with other parts of the body so things stay in their new places (which were their old correct places):-).
And I’d like to close by saying I enjoy working on feet with long term pain, bunions, arch issues etc. because it makes a big difference and can change someone’s life to walk pain free and I find so few practitioners I know want to or can work on feet .
Blessings to all as always!
